VIDEO GUIDE
How many videos can I send?
Because you are sending from your computer to another computer you can make
and send as many video mails as you want.
How is my video seen when I send it?
There is no need for the receiver to download any software, no need to pay a
monthly fee or sign up for hosting on someone else's webserver, it's all done
from your PC at home your office or with a laptop. When you send a video file,
your recipients receive the message in their e-mail as a mpeg attachment.
Just double click the attachment and Windows Media Player, QuickTime Player,
Real Player or AOL Player etc. will automatically open it.
Microsoft
XP "ERROR_ please send a report"
Why do I sometimes get a warning that my Video Webcaster
has not passed Microsoft testing when installing on Windows XP?
VidNeT International tests their own software extensively in their own test
environment to ensure compatibility with the appropriate versions of Windows,
and to ensure that its software works on the all Microsoft platforms. Many companies
have now moved to the process of testing their own software, and no longer rely
on Microsoft for certification or approval. With Microsoft XP and Vista users
sometimes we have found that Microsoft prompts an error saying the Video Webcaster
is showing an "ERROR_ please send a report" here is no need to send
a report.
Just press "Do not send." If you experience further problems with
Microsoft's XP then you can use the Microsoft "Compatibility Wizard"
in XP and choose to run the Video Webcaster in Microsoft Windows 2000, 98ME
or Windows 98.
What computer requirements are needed?
Of course the faster your computer the better. But the Video Webcaster will
work on any PC computer from a 250mhz upwards. Close as many applications
as possible to give your computer a better chance to produce your video.
Webcams.
Not all webcams are created equal. Different webcams produce varying picture
quality due to its lens, frame rate or due to the driver/software provided
for the webcam manufacturer. Today, there are some good quality webcams on
the market and it's worth testing a webcam in store before you buy it. The
Video Webcaster will capture vision as fast as possible but will be restricted
in its operation by a poor quality webcam.
Haven't got a webcam?
'Google' some webcam web sites and do a little research. Or us write in 'Webcam
reviews' in Google
Don't forget, having a well lit area will make your webcam work
better and produce a better video recording, having good LIGHT is a must!,
we cannot stress this enough.
Good luck and happy Video Webcasting!
This will over come the "ERROR_ please send a report" during the
Video Webcaster operations.
The XP Microsoft "ERROR_ please send a report" may pop up after
sending the Video email, just press "Do not send". Many users are
not comfortable with sending off a message to Microsoft's "mothership"
each time they experience a problem and are annoyed with having to click the
"Do not send" button every time to prevent it. The good news is
that you can turn off this error reporting "feature" if you want:
Right click My Computer>select Properties>Advanced>
select Error Reporting and check the Disable error reporting box.
